A goal of mine is to use my blog as an outlet to spread sustainable behavior and tips. So I’ll be doing some reviews on ‘green things’ – whatever I think I know enough on that could maybe encourage a reader or two to learn something or become a little more environmentally friendly.

Zion National Park: the last of the mighty 5

During our April trip to southwest Utah and Arizona, I was almost most definitely most most most excited about Zion. Ever since learning about the national parks and studying them all obsessively, Zion stood out to me as one of the best. To me, it has the prominence and the prestige, without the hype and attention that places like Grand Canyon and Yellowstone get. Not saying those places are bad or overrated or not worthy, but I like how Zion is kept as a bit more of a secret. Plus the VIEWS!

TBT: Longwood Gardens

Just about a year ago, I traveled to Longwood Gardens on a rainy Saturday morning… that happened to be my birthday.

I really love my birthday, and I really love to do fun things on my birthday, oh and I love my birthday. I don’t care what anyone says, when it’s your birthday you get excited and if that ever stops happening to me, well just put me in my grave. It’s a day to celebrate YOU and that’s just too good to ignore.

Thankful for good friends and good flowers and rainy morning birthday walks. So here’s a TBT to our trip to Longwood Gardens last May 21.
