Welcome to my Teeny Travel Journal! My TTJ! I decided there are places around the world that I’ve visited and want to highlight, without any fluff. Just some snapshots of the city, park, town, region, whatever… without many words to clutter up the post. So it’s a travel journal… but a small one. Plus I really like the word teeny.
…… THE 21ST NIGHT OF SEPTEMBER?
Well you should, since it’s TONIGHT. Fun fact: September by Earth, Wind and Fire is not only of my favorite songs… of…. ALL.. TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! but also just one of the best songs ever created ok byyyyyyyye.
I found this reflection survey from a coworker, and I thought it was actually pretty cool. Remember facebook notes and how we would do random surveys? This is kinda like that!!! I know it’s kind of corny… but I think it’s pretty important to reflect on moments, time periods, events that happen in your life.
SUMMER’S ALMOST OVER 😦 😦 😦 😦
Some people get excited for fall. I am not one of those people. Once it’s around, I’m sure I’ll be happy and get into the festive mood, like I always do. But I CERTAINLY do not feel giddy in anticipation. I am not excited for: shorter days, colder weather, less outdoor activities, and generally less fun. Damn I’m bumming myself out right now.
To combat my sadness, I’m sharing my created playlist that I blared all summer long. Yes it is called amy’s feel good summer vibey playlist, because that is EXACTLY what it is.
Back in April, Kristen and I were embarking on a 10 day trip around the Southwest. On our way from Zion National Park to the Grand Canyon, we drove a few hours into Arizona during a beautiful sunset.
The timing worked out great: just as we crossed over the Arizona border, the sun was setting as the moon came up behind some INTENSE Arizona landscapes.
A goal of mine is to use my blog as an outlet to spread sustainable behavior and tips. So I’ll be doing some reviews on ‘green things’ – whatever I think I know enough on that could maybe encourage a reader or two to learn something or become a little more environmentally friendly.
First up: a review on a green book!
